Mustangs Finish First in Relays Event

The Merrill Middle School Mustang 4×100 team finished 1st in the Drake Relay’s Friday. The Mustang boys set a personal record with a 47.58 time. The girls did well, too. Their team finished third overall, running their best time of the year with a 53.70. Congratulations to the Mustangs!

DMPS Offers Free Summer Meal Program

DMPS will again offer breakfast and lunch over the summer months to children 18 and younger. The number of sites has grown, and so have the number of meals served. Last summer, DMPS staff fed children 28,722 breakfasts and 79,698 lunches. DMPS has sponsored a summer meal program for more than 30 years.
