Merrill Students Test Science Knowledge

More than 200 sixth graders designed and raced go-karts outside on the parking lot today. The go-karts had to mainly consist of a vegetable or fruit. The race was designed by Merrill’s science teachers, Christine Ryerson and Blake Hammond, as a way to promote scientific curiosity. Click on the image to see more photos.

Trip to Washington DC – Spring Break 2015

The DMPS Social Studies Department is organizing the 4th trip to the nation’s capital for DMPS 8th graders. These students will have an opportunity to spend a week exploring Washington DC during spring break (March 15-19).
