Students from Merrill Middle School, along with teacher Dale Erickson, are making a valuable contribution to the Iowa Gold Star Museum. Merrill Student Plays Lead in Metro Opera

The distance from middle school to the opera stage was short for Merrill 6th grader Pierce Mansfield, who plays the lead role in the Des Moines Metro Opera’s production of “Amahl and the Night Visitors,” performing this weekend at Hoyt Sherman Place. Merrill/Cowles Earn Mock Trial Honors

Congrats to Merrill and Cowles students on strong showings at the State Mock Trial Tournament, sponsored by the Iowa State Bar Association. Two teams comprised of Merrill Middle School and Cowles Montessori School students are heading to the Iowa Middle School Mock Trial Tournament.
